Teaching activities at the International Football Institute
Practical and relevant tasks in football management
Since his personal graduation from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration in 1995, it has been a personal concern of our managing director Markus Kraetschmer to be able to impart practice-relevant education in the course of his professional activities. Thus he acted again and again as a lecturer and/or discussant on various specialized congresses at home and abroad and made also available in the training formats of the Austrian Football League (last at the League´s Campus) his experience in the course of lectures or expert discussions! Likewise, in his function at FK Austria Wien, he organized courses together with the University of Vienna (Institute for Labor Law, a.o. Univ. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang BRODIL) and the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Institute for International Business, Univ. Prof. Dr. Jonas PUCK).
Accordingly, when MK Consulting GmbH was founded, one of the business areas was defined as the creation and implementation of specialist lectures and specialist literature or publications, the coaching of managers and the activity as a lecturer in courses.
Teaching position in organization in football
With the winter semester 2021/22, Kraetschmer has accepted a teaching position at IFI (International Football Institute; www.international-football-institute.com), which operates in cooperation with HAM (University of Applied Management, the largest private university in Bavaria, located in Munich/Ismaning and study locations in 11 German cities and Vienna). In the 7-semester Bachelor's program "Football Management B.A.", Kraetschmer will lead the course "Organization in Football", as far as possible due to the Covid-19 conditional framework, as a blended-learning-course (face-to-face and online teaching), which will be concluded with an exam in 03/2022. Kraetschmer will then teach in the summer semester of 2022 as part of the master's program "International Association Management in Football."

It is a great new task and challenge for me personally, on the one hand to convey the necessary business management teaching content to the students, but on the other hand to show the topicality and importance of the teaching content with very practical and relevant tasks!", says Kraetschmer in a first statement.
